Biography
I appreciate you considering me as someone you might share some of your precious time with. I have a desire to create beautiful experiences; I have a yearning to discuss life, and a deep craving to express myself in all forms and ways. I admit I can appear free-spirited, and I think that is because what I crave most is feeling truly alive.
I have been told by friends that I am am a great listener and conversationalist, exceedingly warm, and also very easy to get along with. I have a background in elementary education and mental health advocacy, and I am a product of private schooling from kindergarten through my master’s degree.
If you are interested in knowing a little more about me, here is something I wrote to give you a glimpse into who I am:
My idea of utopia is a perfectly hot bath, smelling of lavender and roses.
A touch that feeds you and makes you desirous of more. A kiss that excites you, deep in your bones. A book that takes you to another world. A perfect cup of coffee. A vacation that makes you think differently about the world around you, and fills you with a new hope for humankind.
Kindness. A conversation that takes you to new depths of understanding, that feeds your brain in a way that feels nourishing.
Listening without thinking more about what you are going to say next; truly
attempting to hear the person next to you. Connection, if only for a moment. Touch.
A babbling brook in the black forest, wandering under the bridge above
the river and feeling the cool water on my toes, the smoothness of the stones under my feet.
Walking through trees in Golden Gate Park at dusk, the shadows falling in a way which reminds me of something comforting and foreign at the same time.
A perfect sunset at dusk across a beautiful ocean.
